LINGAYEN, Pangasinan: The six-month amnesty for loose firearms took effect nationwide on Saturday in accordance with Republic Act 10195 or the Comprehensive Law on Firearms and Ammunition Control.
The Pangasinan Police Provincial Office (PPPO) said the gun amnesty allows holders of unlicensed firearms to register their guns for them to avoid stiff penalties.
