769 customs applicants hurdle CSC exams

A TOTAL of 769 examinees passed the general aptitude examinations for supervisory and non-supervisory positions at the Bureau of Customs given by the Civil Service Commission in August. The BOC said of the 4,755 applicants who took the examinations, 84 passed the test for supervisory posts while 685 hurdled the exam for non-supervisory positions. Those who passed will qualify for the second phase of the screening, which is competency-based tests that include job-specific exams and personal interviews.
