80 families homeless in Las Piñas fire


Over 80 families lost their homes in a fire that razed a crowded residential area in Barangay Almanza Dos, Las Piñas City Monday night at TS Cruz Subdivision at around 7 p.m. It reached 4th alarm and was declared under control before 9 p.m. The fire reportedly spread quickly to some 40 houses mostly made of wood and light materials and were built close to each other. Unattended cooking in the house of a one Marlyn Anes was blamed for the incident. |Estimated amount of damage was placed at P100,000.
