80-year-old British hairdressing brand holds PH exhibit
Known the world over as “the hairdressers’ hairbrush,” 80-year-old British brand Denman re-traced its history with an exhibit of photographs and product displays dating back to the 1930s.
A history wall featured John Denman Dean who invented and introduced the first Denman brush, brought about by the need and trend of the times. Besides his sketches, he is seen closely monitoring the brushes’ production line, while hairdressing legend Vidal Sassoon is pictured using the specialized brush in the 1960s with his revolutionary blow-drying techniques.
The event further saw the introduction of Denman’s Filipino ambassadors, namely
Lourd Ramos, Anton Papa and Jonathan Velasco, who held demos for guests using the brand’s latest collection of ergonomic brushes.
