Asian Carmakers Corporation, the official distributor of BMW cars in the country, recently held an event in Bonifacio Global City to celebrate the German automotive firm’s centennial. In case you didn’t know, BMW was established in March 1916. For the weekend expo, ACC made available a 318d and invited visitors “to leave their mark in celebration” of the milestone. According to ACC president Maricar Parco, the commemorative car will tour the brand’s dealership network, before ultimately taking its special spot inside Autohaus Global City, the flagship BMW showroom expected to open in BGC in the fourth quarter of 2017. The exhibit aimed to show the public not only BMW’s heritage but also its future. “The Next 100 Years,” the slogan proclaimed. We left our own mark on the car—”Happy 100th!” —on the front right fender.
