But that’s not all. In 2015, she was awarded as Global Art leader for leading the global fashion and at the same time, obtained her Masters degree from Alternative Medicine at the University of Makati.

Advancing further, she recently finished her doctorate in Alternative Medicine and became one of the speakers at the 3rd International Annual Congress in Barcelona, Spain where she discussed about light and color therapist and treatment of pain associated with anxiety depression. She even became a cover girl for one of their prestigious magazines.

This year Joyce added more to her growing list of recognitions. She was awarded the Golden Phoenix Awards 2016 and won third prize in the accessory competition at the prestigious International Design Awards in Los Angeles. Her design philosophy aims to promote Filipino indigenous material from different regions in the Philippines and other parts of Asia.

But perhaps her biggest achievement so far was the Grand Prize at the Los Angeles Design Competition where she showcased the marriage of Filipino tribal wear to her signature floral- inspired style.

These achievements became the favorite topic at her latest birthday celebration.

The multi-hyphenated woman celebrated her birthday on September while simultaneously launching in the Philippines her magazine, Hollywood Weekly published in the USA. The celebration also featured a fashion show—with the theme Manila Bay Catwalk—with her friends and the famous host Mr. Johnny Litton at the Esplanade Terminal. The evening wrapped up with a dinner party at Vikings, SM Mall of Asia.

To this multi awarded personality, may you continue to promote the Philippines through your creations. Happy birthday!!!
