Located at the ground floor of the SM Mall of Asia Arena is SuperStar Sports Grill and Bar—now fast becoming a food haven for executives and professionals working around the Pasay City area.

Ideally a hangout place after a concert or game at the sports and entertainment venue, people now realize that SuperStar is not just a typical sports bar.

Businessmen, for example, love the lunch and dinner menu that covers a variety of international cuisine and refreshing concoction from around the world.

For exclusive gatherings, Superstar’s, ulra-chic Bar Lounge accommodates up to 22 guests—perfect entertaining visiting foreign counterparts or work associates. For small private functions, the posh Superstar VIP Lounge beckons for meetings with a maximum of 14 persons.

Stylized interiors, good acoustics and a solicitous staff complete the ingredients that make SupeStar one of the best dining and events destinations.

Meanwhile, one of the country’s largest banks, Citi, recently hosted Japan Day, showcasing its commitment and support for its Japanese multinational corporate clients operating in the Philippines.

Citi Philippines CEO Batara Sianturi welcomed the guests, and spoke of his firm’s strong presence in Asia. Sianturi remarked, “For more than 200 years, Citi has been enabling progress for our clients. Here in Asia, we are proud of a legacy that spans 112 years. We first opened our doors in China in 1902, and in the same year, established offices in several other countries including the Philippines and Japan.

“In recent years, we established our Japan Desk to better focus on your unique needs, and promoting discussions on how we can leverage our global footprint as you build your businesses here in the Philippines. No other financial institution is better positioned to support your growth strategies,” Sianturi added.

Citi Japan Executive Officer Katsuhisa Ishikawa, who also serves as Deputy Head of Corporate Banking Division, flew in for the affair. While addressing the clients, he reiterated Citi’s commitments to support its Japanese clients and provided an update on Citi’s Japan Desk Network.
