Frequented by foreign travelers is City Garden Grand Hotel, a four- star business hotel located in the heart of Makati City, owned by the City Garden Hotel Groups.
Made up of 311 rooms, City Garden Grand Hotel has a range of choices for the traveling foreign businessman or tourist— Superior, Premium, Deluxe, Junior Suite, and Presidential Suite, which are designed with seamless interlay of narra hardwood, floor-to-ceiling glass and onyx stone.
According to the hotel’s assistant PR manager Christian Paul Del Rosario, City Garden is the only four-star hotel that caters to foreigners and businessmen in Makati.
“City Garden Grand Hotel took me by surprise. At first I thought it was a five-star hotel,” hotel guest MJ de Leon said. “Everything is impressive—the service staff, facilities, the food selection.”
A one-of-a-kind feature is the roof deck swimming pool on the 32nd floor with two jacuzzis overlooking the Makati skyline. The Firefly Bar, which is beside the pool, serves barbecues, steaks and unlimited salad with live entertainment every Friday and Saturday. Wi-Fi connection is free.
A wide array of dishes is offered at Spice Café from 6 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. for breakfast buffet with Intercontinental cuisines being the bestsellers. On the other hand, Mongolian buffet is the most sought-after selection at Firefly Bar every night.
Opened in 2013, rendering quality service is City Garden’s top priority, especially the foreign clientele as they’re the main source of revenue, said Del Rosario.
