To say that they were a match made in heaven would be an understatement to describe Ronald Tieng and Jennifer Lim-Tieng as they finally tied the knot in a heart-warming ceremony recently.

Held at the picturesque Basilica Minore de San Sebastián in Quiapo, Manila, Ronald and Jennifer were certainly the happiest couple as family and friends converged to be part of this lovely culmination of love and the beginning of many wonderful things to come. With the blessing of their parents, William and Aida Tieng, and Hubert and Rosalina Mary Lim, the couple celebrated their union with the people they cherish dearly in their lives.

The wedding ceremony was officiated by Father Luis Tolentino, and witnessed by sponsors—who will guide them as they live a lovely life together—Sen. Franklin Drilon and wife Milagros, Solar Entertainment Corp. president and chief executive officer Wilson Tieng and Senator Loren Legarda, Saranggani representative Manny Pacquiao and wife, Saranggani Vice Gov. Jinkee Pacquaio, Puregold’s Lucio Co and wife Susan, business magnate Enrique Chua and wife Flora, Doña Modesta Gaisano Foundation’s doctor Francisco Gaisano and wife Judy, GMA 7 chairman and chief executive officer, lawyer Felipe Gozon and wife Tessie, SM Prime Holdings director Herbert Sy and wife Michelle, and Solar Entertainment’s Willy Tieng and wife Daisy.

Being the first wedding for both families, Ronald and Jennifer received much love and support from the people around them, from the major preparations down to the tiniest details, to make their dream wedding a reality. The bride, an alumna of the University of Arts in London’s College of Fashion, and creative director of multi-disciplinary design firm SVL, designed her own wedding gown which was then masterfully put together by Sjaelu Atelier.

On the other hand, Ronald is a computer engineering-graduate of De La Salle University and currently the managing director of Federal Distributors Inc. (FDI) specializing in fast-moving consumer goods and the head of production house Bigboy Productions Inc.,

The couple welcomed their guests at the Sofitel Manila for a plush reception party.

Entertainment were provided by the tenor group The Angelos, indie band Up Dharma, legendary True Faith, the 30-piece Bernie Pasamba Orchestra and Christopher Yu.

Ronald and Jennifer’s union was truly a memorable event to remember.
