AS the country excitedly welcomes home Miss Universe Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach, Binibining Pilipinas Charities Inc. (BPCI) continues to search for the next batch of Binibining Pilipinas candidates, who will hopefully bring home more international titles to the country.
Considered a banner year for Filipinas, the winning streak of queens under BPCI who made waves in the international pageant scene in 2015 besides Miss Universe Philippines include Binibining Pilipinas Tourism Anne Colis for Miss Globe; Binibining Pilipinas Tourism Parul Shah for Miss Grand International;
Binibining Pilipinas International Janicel Lubina who landed in Miss International’s Top 10 as well as bagging the Best Dressed Award; Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental Christy McGarry, crowned Miss Intercontinental 2015 1st Runner-up; and Bininbining Pilipinas Supranational Rogelie Catacutan who was a semifinalist.
Hoping that the roster of winners will inspire more Filipinas to join the pageant, the BPCI has opened applications to interested single ladies aged 17 to 26 years old, with Filipino citizenship and who are of good moral character.
Besides the application form, the rest of the requirements include: one close up and one full body shot; birth certificate and Philippine passport; college or high school diploma; medical certificate; certificate of good moral character, and parental consent for applicants below 18 years old.

Titles at stake are Miss Universe Philippines, Binibining Pilipinas International, Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental, Binibining Pilipinas Supranational, and Binibining Pilipinas Grand International.
Applications are accepted daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays until January 30.
