Catch the last two days of Toy Mania at Shangri-La Plaza’s Grand and East Atriums—giving toy fans and hobbyists an action-packed and diverse experience.
Scheduled today and tomorrow is meet-and-greet opportunities with free play and demo with some of the toy world’s most beloved characters: Sylvanian Families from 1 to 1:30 p.m., Robocar Poli from 2:30 to 3 p.m., and Pokemon’s Pikachu from 4:30 to 5 p.m.
Come 3 p.m., the Lego Building Competition is set. Registration is free and will be held at the East Atri-um of the mall from 1 to 2:30 p.m. The favorite toy brand continues its rule at the East Atrium tomor-row with free play together with UNO Cards, UNO Stacko, and Tumbling Monkeys. Those on the artis-tic side can also dabble in ceramic painting with Color Me Mine.
Also on Sunday, there will be a Polymer Clay Workshop with a registration fee of P500. A Sculpey Clay Craft Party will also be held at 1PM onwards on the same day, where a clay workshop will be featured along with a DIY bead station and candy bar.
Throughout the Toy Mania that began on July 29, fans of global toy brands such as Gundam, Lego, Tomica, Hexbug, Sylvanian Families, Robocar Poli, Pokemon, UNO Stacko and Tumbling Monkeys. The five-day event was comprised of exhibits, demos, competitions, and selling booths. Product selling will be conducted through Toys ‘R Us and Rustan’s Department Store.
One of the highlights of the event is the Gundam 3D Statue and Model Kits Exhibit, and Caravan and Detailing Experience. Open to ages 7 and above, each participant was given an hour to put together their own model kit which they brought home for free. A total of 200 pieces were given.
