THE Duterte administration may now consider undertaking a major rehabilitation of the Agus hydroelectric plants in Mindanao as power supply is no longer an issue in that region, energy firm Aboitiz Power Corp. said.

AboitizPower President and Chief Operating Officer Antonio Moraza, addressing delegates to an investment conference in Davao City, said on Friday it is perhaps time for the government to decide on the future of the Agus Power Plant Complex, although studies would have to be conducted first to determine how the proposed rehabilitation should be done and by whom.
