AboitizPower restores power in Cebu, Ormoc

ABOITIZPOWER units Visayan Electric Co. Inc., Subic EnerZone and Davao Light are working double time to restore electricity in Northern Cebu and the Fourth District of Leyte, to give its residents a spark of hope this Christmas.

Around 77 linemen, engineers and staff have been deployed to Northern Cebu since second week of November to restore power in the typhoon-ravaged area. To date, the three AboitizPower power units have restored a total of 873 poles in Northern Cebu, reenergized all the municipal halls serviced by electric cooperative Cebeco, as well as the business center of Bogo City.

However, some residential and business establishments could still not be energized due to damaged electrical installations.

For now, the AboitizPower units will continue to work on the 13.2-kilovolt (kV) backbone feeder lines from San Remegio to Luyang, Bogo City to Sugod, and Medellin to Daan Bantayan.
