• Adam Lambert set to close SG50 on a high note

    A “glam” send-off to SG50 and welcome to 2016 are in store at The Float at Marina Bay on December 31. Headlined by multi-platinum hitmaker and award-winning singer-songwriter Adam Lambert, “Celebrate 2016” promises to be a New Year’s Eve to remember with his chart-topping hits.

    This year’s line-up will also include performances by local acts The Lion City Boy, Sisay, Nat Ho, Darryl Yong, Fauzie Laily, Shane Pow, Ian Fang, Zhang ZhenHuan, The Dancefloor Finalists, Getai Challenge winner Desmond Ng, Project Superstar winner Alfred Sim, Gayle Nerva, Kayly Loh, Eswari Gunasagar, Jae Liewand more. The show will be hosted by Media Corp. DJs Mike Kasem and Jean Danker.

    Party-goers can also look forward to a spectacular fireworks display at the stroke of midnight and a pulsating dance party after with DJ Tinc.

    “Let’s end our SG50 year with a big bang and fly higher in 2016. We are very excited about the line upatthis year’s show: it has a mix of international and local talent and a whole lot of glam. Adam Lambert has a strong following around the world and certainly in Singapore. We hope his Glambert fans from the region will join us at this spectacular party,” said Debra Soon, head of Media Corp.’s Family English Segment. Media is the event organizer.

    “Anyone who has ever seen Adam Lambert perform knows that he carries with in him an unquenchable thirst to sing better, to live better, to love better, to be better,” Soon added.

    Fans will get to hear songs from Lambert’s latest album Original High, including his first single “Ghost Town.”

    “There is no better act than Adam Lambert to close 2015 on a ‘high’ note, aptly so as the Billboard chart-topping singer-songwriter has recently released his third studio album titled Original High,” concludes Simon Nasser, managing director of Warner Music Singapore.
