Adamson University denied Ateneo de Manila a chance at two crowns when it edged its Passerelle rival, 69-67, to advance into the finals, leaving Ateneo with only a shot at the Small Baskeeters Philippines (SBP) title over the weekend in the Best Center twin-basketball tournament for the youth at the Xavier School gym.
Adamson will face La Salle Greenhills-A, which scraped past San Beda College-Rizal, 58-55, in the other Passerelle semifinal pairing. They battle for the crown at 1:30 pm on Sunday at the Jacinto Tiu competition court also at Xavier School.
