• Adamson Falcons drop Cameroonian center

Adamson University has removed Cameroonian center Ingrid Sewa from its line-up for playing in leagues other than the UAAP.

Falcons team manager Gilbert Cruz said in in a text message on Friday the 6’10 Sewa was dropped “because of successive infractions.”

“It’s not good for the team that somebody violates the rules. It’s already a habit for him (Sewa) and we’re very tired of his action,” Cruz said.

Philippine Basketball Association standout and Adamson alumnus Kenneth Duremdes, who replaced head coach Leo Austria who resigned last season, said they will scout for an immediate replacement to Sewa most likely in Team B.

Last season Sewa averaged 9.4 points, 8.4 rebounds and 2.9 blocks per game for the Falcons, who ended up at 4-10 win-loss card.
