A Swiss luxury timepiece must top many a Christmas list from year to year, and for those looking for the affordable and exquisite kind, Aerowatch easily comes to mind.

Creative and unique, the watch brand is the product of an independent family-owned company that has steadily been in the business of high-quality Swiss-made timepieces since 1910.

Originally a company that was solely dedicated to the production of pocket watches and pendants, Aerowatch in 2004 decided to diversify into creating more affordable Swiss wristwatches, which nevertheless remain faithful to the classic lines of vintage models and equipped with renowned mechanical hand-wound and self-winding movements.

For its 2014 Holiday collection, Aerowatch pursues its successful Grande Squelette Skeleton collection by developing the all-new Renaissance Fir Tree. The innovation unites the venerable craft of “piercing” with 21st-century aesthetics. Rooted in regional construction traditions, the ornamental “style sapin” brings the eloquence of art nou-veau to the realm of watch-making artistry.

The Renaissance Fir Tree is yet another example of the unmistakably style-defining Aero-watch signature. Its gently rounded 45mm stainless steel polished black PVD case and yellow minute-train all make for an exciting new model.

Fitted with a domed sapphire crystal and a black leather strap with folding clasp this elaborately crafted skeleton watch addresses the preferences of style-conscious men who find appeal in authenticity. The watch is also 50-meter water resistant.

Finally, to ensure enhanced visibility during the night, the hour and minute hands are coated with Superluminova.

Aerowatch is exclusively distributed by Alexis Jewelry, Inc., which carries the full line of the Swiss watch brand in the country. For more information, call Alexis Glorietta 1 at 576-2986, and Alexis Robinson’s Midtown Malate at 567-1983.
