Local fragrance brand Aficionado Germany Perfume, headed by Joel Cruz as president and CEO, continues its quest for global excellence as it nears its 15th anniversary in the business on September 5.
Before the much-awaited milestone, Aficionado received the ISO-9001:2008 certification for its manufacturing plant located at the Sterling Industrial Park in Meycuayan, Bulacan.
It has done so after the manufacturing plant beefed up its production muscle with the acquisition and upgrade of a state-of-the-art automation system. This increased the plant’s capacity to half a million bottles of perfumes in a month to serve the demands of its growing market.
After earning its certification for good manufacturing practices (GMP) a long time ago, Aficionado Germany Perfume has exported products in large-scale quantities to the Southeast Asian market. The ISO certification will enable Aficionado to reach a wider market globally.
The ISO certification was facilitated by TÛV Rheinland of Germany.
