• AFP to pay last tribute to Aquino

THE Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) will render its final tribute to its outgoing commander in chief, President Benigno Aquino 3rd, a military spokesman said on Saturday.

AFP spokesman Brig. General Restituto Padilla said the AFP and its major branch services will pay tribute to Aquino on Monday at its general headquarters in Camp Aguinaldo.

Padilla said all military officials and other government dignitaries will attend the event.

However, there will be no Air Force fly-bys during the testimonial in keeping with Aquino’s desire to keep the ceremonies as simple as possible.

“The ceremonies will be the final military parade to honor and pay tribute to the C-in-C and is the AFP’s expression of gratitude for the leadership and support provided by the Honoree for the institution,” the official said.

Padilla said the military’s capability build up under the Aquino administration has been the best so far and greatly exceeds the support provided by the last three administrations combined.

    1. I am overjoyed that Pnoy is gone. This guy is a jerk. New revelations will pop up after Pnoy leaves office. I am very curious of his health. Specially his mental capacity to think and to make decisions. I will not be surprise if hie will be admitted in a hospital either physical problem or to avoid imprisonment for the DAP and PDAP issues .
