ABS-CBN rolled out the red carpet on Thursday night for dramatic actress Judy Ann Santos, who is returning to television’s prime time slot.
The reigning “Queen of Pinoy Soap Operas” took a two-year hiatus from doing teleseryes after she gave birth to son Lucho.
She said her latest project for ABS-CBN is unlike any of her past soaps. She plays a battered wife who rises up to defend herself in Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala–a story of woman empowerment.
But before she fights back, Juday has to shed a lot of tears in her latest soap–something she said she had a hard time acting out for the camera for the first time in her 27-year-old career.
