A 30-year-old agronomist from South Cotabato was added to the roster of instant millionaires in the country.
According to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO), the winner has already claimed the P14-million jackpot prize in its Mega Lotto 6/45 draw.
PCSO Acting Chairman and General Manager Jose Ferdinand Rojas 2nd said the winner only bet P40 and that she has been betting in lotto for 10 years before finally taking the pot money.
The winner got the winning combination 10-29-26-17-11-07 from the birth dates of her child, nieces and relatives.
According to Rojas, the winner plans to share the winning to her parents, siblings, donate to church and save the rest for her child’s future. Rojas congratulated the winner as he handed the check to her at the national lottery main office in Mandaluyong City on Wednesday.
