AUTHORITIES are searching for the Philippine Army soldier who stabbed to death a 61-year-old farmer while buying food at a remote village in Buenavista town in Agusan del Norte. The suspect was identified as Andre Tadlip of Philippine Army’s 29th infantry battalion. Tadlip reportedly stabbed Hendry Gomes Murel on Thursday night at Purok 11 in Barangay Sangay. The victim and his son Adones were buying dinner at a barbeque stall around 11 p.m. when the suspect appeared from nowhere and attacked the farmer thrice. The suspect fled after the stabbing incident.
