Qatar’s Red Crescent distributed aid packages worth of $200,000 in Marawi City as part of its humanitarian work in the Philippines. Qatar’s Embassy in Manila said the Red Crescent will in the coming days distribute emergency food and non-food assistance to families displaced by the fighting in Marawi. The Qatari mission has been working in cooperation with the Philippine Red Cross since 2012.
