More aid reach thousands of displaced Lanao families

COTABATO CITY: About 1,900 families displaced by the Marawi City siege received relief goods from the Lanao del Sur government through the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao’s Humanitarian Emergency Assistance and Response Team (ARMM-HEART) and the Provincial Social Welfare and Development which transported 1,900 sacks of rice and goods to the evacuees in Bubong town where about 2,700 displaced families are temporarily sheltered in evacuation centers. Joint Task Force Group Ranao under Brig. Gen. Ramiro Rey led the convoy of 24 vehicles that delivered the relief goods.
