Air Force plane missing in Palawan


PHILIPPINE Air Force (PAF) spokesman Col. Ernesto Miguel Okol on
Monday confirmed that an OV-10 plane went missing Palawan following a
night flying proficiency.

Okol said that based on reports by the 570th Composite Tactical
Wing two OV-10s with tail numbers 630 and 130 took off from Palawan at
around 6:37 p.m.

At about 7:30, Okol added, OV-10 No.630 lost contact with Palawan
tower while OV-10 No.130 landed safely.

Rescue teams from the Navy are currently conducting search and
rescue operations.
