Airbus makes emergency landing

An Airbus A320 of Air Asia made an emergency landing at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) after its right engine malfunctioned, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said on Thursday. Flight Z2-612 with 159 passengers and six crew on board, was flying from Davao City when its pilot, Captain Allan Roque, requested clearance for emergency landing while approaching NAIA. It was not known if the plane already had engine failure when it took off from Davao.
