Airlines cancel Japan-bound flights


Three Philippine Airlines (PAL) flights bound for Japan were cancelled on Monday as Typhoon Vongfong lashed Japan. While Cebu Pacific Air management said their flights to and from Japan has continued to operate as scheduled, the airline is closely monitoring weather conditions to provide flight updates. Also, two flights from Jetstar Asia bound for Japan were also cancelled. PAL said that passengers of PR438 bound for Nagoya, PR408 for Kansai, and PR432 bound for Narita were immediately rebooked for the next available flights and will be accommodated for Tuesday’s special flights.
