ALASKA pulled off a blitz in the second half to overcome a 19-point deficit and beat Rain or Shine, 93-88, on Saturday in Game 5 of the best-of-seven semifinals of the Philippine Basketball Association Season 40 Philippine Cup at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. With the win, Alaska is now leading the series 3-2.
Guard Cyrus Baguio posted 16 points; Calvin Abueva had also 16 plus 11 rebounds pushing the Aces one game closer to reaching the finals against San Miguel Beer.
