It may seem like TV’s top love team from Eat Bulaga have gone through all the “firsts” in their sky-rocketing pairing but it was only this week that AlDub had their first press conference together.
Hardly ever available for interviews—especially side-by-side—Alden Richards and Maine “Yaya Dub” Mendoza were naturally the center of attention at the press conference for Metro Manila Film Festival entry My Bebe Love: #KiligPaMore. This, even as comedy superstars, Vic Sotto and Ai-Ai delas Alas, sat in the panel with them.
With her now familiar speaking voice, the Dub Smash Queen confessed, “Kinakabahan po ako kasi unang beses ko po humarap sa press con na ganito, pero nakakatulong po ang suporta nila Bossing Vic, Miss Ai, at siyempre ni Alden.”
Alden, on the other hand talked about his naturally “protective” side, which is ever present with Maine beside her.
“Ganon lang po talaga siguro ako, because [as a gentleman], it’s the right thing to do,” he acknowledged.
Asked whether this “comfortable situation” between them has potential to go the way their fans hope it would, the pair tried hard to suppress their smiles and pleaded with everyone to give them time to get to know each other better.
