ALI to issue P6-billion bonds in two tenors

Ayala Land Inc. (ALI) will issue billions worth of bonds that will mature on 2020 and 2033.

“[The company’s] public offer of P4-billion bonds due 2020 and P2 billion due 2033 represent the longest tenor for a domestic corporate bond to date,” ALI said in a statement.

Among the bond issue’s underwriters and bookrunners are BPI Capital Corp., BDO Capital and Investment Corp. and First Metro Investment Corp.

The public offer will be available from September 30 to October 4, while the bond issuance and listing in the Philippine Dealing System will be on October 10.

The funds to be raised from the public offering would be used for ALI’s capital expenses.

The additional P6-billion bond offering will be in accordance with the company’s planned bond sales of P21 billion for the year, as it has issued P15 billion as of July this year.
