NEW YORK: Almost all the wines found in the home of renowned dealer Rudy Kurniawan were fakes passed off as expensive rare vintages, an expert witness told his New York fraud trial on Monday (Tuesday in Manila).
The 37-year-old Kurniawan, once considered one of the top-five wine collectors in the exclusive world of fine vintage wine, faces up to 40 years in jail if convicted of wire and postal fraud.
