A 35-year-old ambulance driver from Manila has bagged the P9-million jackpot prize in Mega Lotto 6/45 draw of the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).
The PCSO acting chairman, lawyer Jose Ferdinand Rojas 2nd, on Friday said the lone jackpot prize winner only bet P40.
The bettor, who is married with five children, got the winning combination 05-08-10-11-30-35 from birth dates and ages of family members.
Rojas said the winner plans to buy a house and lot as well as a van for a shuttle business.
The winner, he added, also wants to file for early retirement, saying an ambulance driver’s job is “stressful.”
Rojas handed the prize check to the winner on Thursday at the National Lottery main office in Mandaluyong City (Metro Manila).
