• American couple loses valuables to burglars in Dipolog City


    AN AMERICAN couple lost cash and valuable items when three young men broke into their rented apartment on Wednesday in a suburban village in Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte. Reports reaching the Philippine National Police headquarters in Camp Crame said Paul Drum and his wife lost an Acer Aspire laptop, a Lenovo mobile phone, a green MP3 player, a brown leather wallet containing two debit cards, a California’s driver’s license, P4,000, US$100 and P1,000 cash belonging to the house helper when the burglars entered their apartment in Purok Orchid, Sicayag. The burglary was reported to the police by a certain Danilo Saguin, 60, whose nephew Mark Diu owned the apartment. The suspects, who entered the apartment through the window, were identified as Mark Maniego, 18, John Boeau Mosqueda, 25, and Suzimo Bustillo, 24, all are resident of Zamboanga del Sur.
