Lifestyle cable channel Colours is all set to air the live of the 2015 American Music Awards—the world’s biggest fan-voted award show—on November 23 at 9 a.m.
Triple threat Jennifer Lopez takes the lead in hosting and performing at this year’s AMAs, with performances by 5 Seconds of Summer, Selena Gomez, Nick Jonas, Demi Lovato, One Direction, Carrie Underwood, and Walk The Moon.
Topping the number of nominations this year are Taylor Swift with a total of six, followed by Ed Sheeran and The Weeknd with five nominations each. The Song of The Year nominees are Wiz Khalifa featuring Charlie Puth for “See You Again;” Mark Ronson featuring Bruno Mars for “Uptown Funk;” Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud;” Taylor Swift’s “Blank Space;” and The Weekend’s “Can’t Feel My Face.” Music fans are also in for a treat as The Artist of the Year nominees include Luke Bryan, Ariana Grande, Maroon 5, Nicki Minaj, One Direction, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Taylor Swift, Meghan Trainer and The Weeknd.
An encore telecast is scheduled on Colours also on the same day at 8 p.m.
The cable channel is using the AMA’s as the launch pad of its “GlamFest” programing, which also includes the live airing of the highly-anticipated Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show this December, the Golden Globe Awards in January 2016, and the Grammy’s in February 2016.
Colours is dubbed, “the first local female lifestyle channel in HD,” and is available on Cignal TV.
