ZAMBOANGA CITY: An American wanted in the United States has been tracked down and arrested by a joint team of US and Philippine law enforcement agencies in Dipolog City. Chief Inspector Ariel Huesca, a regional police spokesman, said the 70-year old Donald Lloyd Warren, who is being accused by US authorities of “indecency with a child” and theft in Texas, was arrested in his rented house in the village of Sicayab. He said Warren, a resident of Paris in Texas, is being hunted by US authorities after a warrant for his arrest was issued by court in Texas in 2001. The Bureau of Immigration has issued a deportation warrant for Warren. But the website crime-stoppers.org (Crime Stoppers of Houston) has offered a $5000 reward for any information that would lead to Warren’s arrest. A purported mug shot of Warren is also posted on the website.
