Americans freed by N. Korea arrive in US


JOINT BASE LEWIS-MCCHORD, United States: Two Americans released from lengthy prison sentences in North Korea arrived home on Saturday (Sunday in Manila), with one thanking supporters for never giving up on him. The plane carrying Kenneth Bae and Matthew Miller touched down at around 9:00 p.m. (5:00 a.m. Manila time on Sunday) at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington State, following a secret mission by US intelligence chief James Clapper to secure their freedom.
