• Amid report of ban, Steelers’ Bell says he won’t miss games

LOS ANGELES: Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell, reportedly facing a four game suspension for missing multiple drug tests, Monday vowed on media that he wouldn’t miss any games in the upcoming NFL season.

“I’m not going to miss games, trust me,” Bell said in a post on his Instagram account.

ESPN first reported on Friday that Bell, 24, faces a four-game suspension for missed drug tests. Under league rules a player must miss three tests to be suspended.

Bell is subject to more rigorous testing after pleading guilty to marijuana possession and driving under the influence in 2014.

But he indicated on Instagram he expected to win an appeal of any league sanctions.

“I’m gonna win the appeal,” he wrote. “when I end up missing’ no games at all, (people) for sure gonna try to love me again and I’m only ridin’ with my LOYAL fans!!”
