In an interview, PAGASA weather forecaster Aldczar Aurelio said that fair weather will continue in Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon and Visayas but still advised the public to bring umbrella due to partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains brought by northeast monsoon.

He added that Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Aurelio said the temperature in Metro Manila for Wednesday will range 21-32 degrees Celsius.

He added that with the existing northeast monsoon or “hangin amihan,” summer has yet to come.

Aurelio noted that if the ridge of high pressure area and easterlies are the two weather systems prevail in the country then this signals the start of summer season.

He also said that in the next two to three days no weather disturbance has been monitored near the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

In its advisory, PAGASA said that moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over Eastern Luzon and Eastern Visayas and the coastal waters along these areas will be moderate to rough.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate coming from the northeast with slight to moderate seas. PNA
