Cold and rainy weather will remain in many parts of the country due to the northeast monsoon.
Parts of Visayas and Luzon including Metro Manila will be cloudy with passing light rains because of the effects of the northeast monsoon or “hanging amihan” — a mass of cold air that blows into the country from Siberia.
The amihan is responsible for the cool weather the country experiences from early November to mid-March.
The temperature for Metro Manila will range from 21-31 degrees Celsius on Sunday.
Moderate to strong winds from the northeast will prevail over Luzon, Visayas and Eastern Mindanao and the coastal waters in these areas will be moderate to rough.
