‘Andas’ starts moving

The “andas” or carriage containing the replica of the Black Nazarene has started to move from its location near the Quirino Grandstand in Rizal Park, Manila Friday morning.

This took place between 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m.

It was slated to move at 6 a.m. but problems with the tying of the guide ropes, wheels, and huge crowds of devotees delayed the procession for more than one and half hours.

However, these problems were corrected with the help of organizers and securing police officers.

No untoward incident were reported yet as this posting. PNA
