Anderson product fights Ebola virus

ANDERSON: A product manufactured by an Anderson-based company has been included on a federal government list to disinfect and use against the Ebola virus. Coeus Technology’s GEN10 disinfectant meets the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) criteria for use against the Ebola virus on hard, non-porous surfaces. Nate Richardson, president of Coeus Technology, said Coeus Technology submitted information and samples and Gen10 passed the requirements and was added to the Environmental Protection Agency list. “There are only about 40 products on the list,” he said. “We’re seeing an increase as a result of being on the list,” he added.
