Internationally renowned Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli took Manila by storm on April 26 for his concert dubbed Cinema World Tour. Staged at the Mall of Asia Arena, the one-night affair left audience clamoring for more.

Upon invitation of our good friend Emilio Mina, I had the privilege to meet Andrea and his lovely wife Veronica Berti personally before his show at his private room and had photos with him.

The next day, April 27, Andrea and his entourage graced the lunch at The Caruso Ristorante Italiano hosted and organized by Emilio and Sergio Boero, president of the Italian Chamber of Commerce who was responsible for bringing Andrea to Caruso.

The lunch was attended by known personalities from media, business and social figures led by the Italian ambassador Massimo Roscigno. Also in attendace was Martin McCarthy, International Development and Sales of the Bocelli Family Wines who flew in for the wine launch.

The highlight of the lunch was the launching of the Bocelli Family wines and prosecco which were served that day.

Andrea himself led the toast and made a short speech thanking everyone for gracing the event.

Emilio then led the singing of Azzuro where Andrea and Veronica were singing along. The guests then had photo opportunities with Andrea and Veronica.

Congratulations Emilio and Sergio for the success of the event.
