    In numbers, these make up the star power of showbiz A-lister Anne Curtis in social media.

    It is therefore no wonder that Curtis is the first Filipino personality to have a mobile game inspired by her celebrity via Anne Galing. The game is also a first for developer Xeleb, which is also reputed as the country’s first company that is focused on celebrity-branded games.

    Xeleb staged the grandest launch for Curtis at the Green Sun in Pasong Tamo in Makati City. Gathering a big crowd of businessmen, personalities, and members of the press, the actress, performer and host undoubtedly proved her fame, and why she deserves to have a mobile game to her name.

    On hand to welcome Curtis to Xeleb was Raymond Racaza, chief operating officer of Xurpas, the publicly listed homegrown company behind the subsidiary company.

    “Ours is a story of innovation. Xurpass started in 2001 as a provider of digital goods—remember SMS forwardables? We were also the first to do photo sharing, and even micro-blogging. In 2014, we finally made it to the stock exchange. Today, we mark another first with Xeleb and Anne Galing.”

    Racaza who also serves as Xeleb president and chief executive officer explained they chose to give Curtis a game of her own because the celebrity has a very broad fanbase that ranges from “six to 76 years old”—all of whom can play Anne Galing.

    Now available on Google Play, Anne Galing is a match-3 game that allows players to shop for digital clothes, build a wardrobe and personalize Curtis’ in-game outfits.

    “I chose a match-3 type of game because it’s my personal favorite. I’m actually very good at it,” exclaimed the woman of the hour. “But I wanted Anne Galing to be unique and to have my personal touch, so I threw in my love for fashion into the game.”

    Curtis further revealed that she was very hands on during the development of Anne Galing from her avatar, to her outfits, and even her the tone of her voice in different expressions.

    “Now my fans can have me in their pockets!” the ever-energetic star gushed.

    But the night did not end there as Xeleb also revealed three more personalities who will soon have each of their inspired games, namely Kim Atienza (adventure), Isabelle Daza (fashion and travel), and Erwan Heussaff (cooking).

    “We view Anne, Isabelle, Kim and Erwan as tentpole properties. We’ll build a constantly growing portfolio of games based on their celebrity brand,” Racaza ended.
