Multi-faceted actress Anne Curtis acts and sings, runs and parties. But among the things she does best, there is one that she enjoys the most—dressing up.

Known to be classy and sophisticated, yet adventurous and experimental, Anne is considered a style icon who wields a lot of fashion influence among young, professional women like her. Her “outfit of the day” (OOTD) photos easily get thousands of ‘’likes’’ on her Instagram account. What Anne is wearing for the day, what shoes and accessories go with her outfits, her over 6.4 million followers on social network platform always await with much anticipation.

‘’I consider myself a girly-girl, so I love dressing up for my OOTD posts. It’s really so much fun. I just love dressing up and I pour time and effort to take photos of what I would be wearing for the day because it mostly expresses the mood I am in. I like trying out different styles: from casual, to girly, to glam, to anything I am in the mood for, or what the occasion calls for. But always, I also make sure I am having fun in putting my outfits together,’’ says Anne.

Renewed partnership
It is just natural that this sophisticated yet quirky media sweetheart be the perfect choice as the face of top women’s clothes brand Plains and Prints. Her fashion sense can only be matched by a label that is known for its versatile fashion palette. On June 19, the renewed partnership between Anne and the brand was launched in front of Plains and Prints store at the Shangri-La Plaza in Mandaluyong City with an afternoon tea party affair.

While many women think that one must choose between style and comfort when picking out clothes, Anne insists that you can combine both. In fact, she considers combining both very important in determining what to wear.

‘’That’s why I love how Plains and Prints’ clothes answer the woman’s need for both style and comfort. In my case, Plains and Prints has everything to suit what I feel like wearing for the day —but always with a touch of fun and girly sophistication,’’ Anne shares.

New collection launched
To further seal its perfect partnership, Plains and Prints and Anne Curtis also led the ribbon-cutting of the newly renovated Shangri-La boutique as well as unveiled the Pre-Fall Collection at the event.

To be carried from June to September, the new collection is composed of four sets of off-the-rack ensembles that range from playful, to romantic, to sophisticated.

Anne and the girly-girl types will certainly be floored by the Fleur de Lis collection. Inspired by color of the year, radiant orchid pink, Fleur de Lis features interesting prints in vibrant shades of fuchsia, purple, peach, and pink.

The California Dreamin’ collection features shift dresses, waist dresses, and pants popping out with dainty details, perfect for women who like a more natural vibe yet still want to look polished and professional.

Looking up to Audrey Hepburn for style, Anne especially loves the Uptown Girl collection, which showcases feminine silhouettes in bold shades of blues, yellows, and oranges.

For days that she feels like dressing down without being ordinary, Anne goes for the Flights of Fancy collection which features a twist on the classic button down polo shirt. Matching it with a pair of denims or just casual short shorts, this button-down shirt becomes even trendier in vibrant prints and interesting colors.

These collections will be available at Plains and Prints stores nationwide starting June 26 or via online shopping through Like Plains and Prints Facebook page or follow @Plainsandprint on Instagram and Twitter.
