This year proved to be a another banner year for the Philippine motoring industry, with the slew of new vehicle introductions and surge in car sales.

Latest data from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines Inc. (Campi) and The Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) show that car sales for the first 10 months of the year reached to 339,380 units, a 16-percent jump from the same period in 2016 that saw sales of 292,502 units.
