The Manila Seedling Bank Foundation Inc. (MSBFI) in Quezon City urged public and private school authorities to “study the possibility” of investing in insect-repellant plants to thwart dengue-carrying mosquitoes this rainy season in their respective grounds.
Leonardo Ligeralde, MSBFI president said dengue cases usually rise during the rainy months citing that the planting of neem and citronella is a more effective way of driving mosquitoes away from the school grounds.
