• Antique vet appeals to dog owners to be responsible

SAN JOSE, ANTIQUE: The Antique Provincial Veterinary Office has urged the public to practice responsible dog ownership after five dogs were found to be positive with rabies in the province recently. Antique Provincial Veterinarian Romeo Magdatu said the office provides free anti-rabies vaccines in the hope that rabies would not further spread. The five towns where the canines were found positive are Hamtic, San Jose, San Remigio, Sibalom, and Tobias Fornier. He added that the municipal governments should also intensify their anti-rabies campaign to protect their constituents and to preserve Antique as Human Rabies Free province.
