The park will be inaugurated alongside the opening of Kampo Balagtas, a National Youth Camp for students and indigenous children of Orion, Bataan on March 30.
The declaration of April as National Literature Month also falls in line with the celebrations of literary related events like the International and World Book Day and the National Book and Copyright Day.
Various programs on poetry and literature will be spearheaded by different organizations, literary groups and government agencies throughout the country. Every Monday, KWF will be hosting Tertulya sa Tula: Isang Hapon ng mga Makata ng Taon, a forum on poetry and literature that would feature various awardees of KWF’s Makata ng Taon and on Saturdays, the Ateneo de Manila University will be hosting a High Fantasy and Young Adult Writing Workshop with ADMU’s premier writers.
