President Benigno Aquino 3rd confirmed that his love life is no longer zero but said he will consider going into a more serious relationship after his term ends.
“It’s not zero,” Aquino said referring to his love life, in an interview with ANC on Tuesday night.
The President admitted that he gets to occasionally go on dates.
“There is no single individual and not even a regular interaction,” Aquino said, not mentioning names.
He added that he goes out on dates “sometimes,” with the Presidential Security Group (PSG) letting him to be himself when he goes out on a date.
“They are very nice… They remember I am the Commander-in-Chief,” the President said.
Aquino, however, noted that he has 280 days or so left before he can go into a more serious and lasting relationship or think about finally settling down.
“There are many variations already. Through the years, if it’s my destiny, you give it soon. If it’s not, then you make me understand why not,” he said.
At the moment, according to Aquino, his mother, the late former President Corazon Aquino, remains his “constant inspiration.”
The love life of the 55-year-old bachelor President has been quiet for some time now.
He had been comparing his love life to a popular soft drink variant, saying his love life was zero.
