KEITH Jasper Agovida notched all of Arellano University Chiefs’ last six points to pull off a 63-62 win over last year’s runner-up Letran Knights on Monday in the 90th National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) seniors basketball tournament elimination round at the San Juan Arena in San Juan City.
Agovida also scored a successful follow-up after a miss in the final 1:36 of the game that sealed the victory for the Chiefs. Arellano is now solo second with sixth wins against two losses, just a game away from solo leader San Beda College Red Lions, who are bearing a 6-1 record.
